This resource is intended for WashU faculty and staff advising F-1/J-1 international students and/or hosting international faculty and staff under sponsorship of WashU.
Collaborate with OISS
At WashU, interactions with international students and scholars are an integral part of our diverse community. We are proud to have them studying, working, and conducting research across the university. The Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) is here to empower you in collaborating effectively with our international community. We understand that immigration regulations can be complex, but you don’t need to navigate them alone.
Invite Faculty/Staff
OISS works with academic departments to determine the best way to bring a foreign national to your department for research, teaching, working or other collaboration.
Advise Students
An international student is considered to be an individual who is enrolled full-time in a degree or non-degree program at a U.S. university or college and holds a temporary non-immigrant visa.
